Board of Directors
Inspiring Lives works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year round. The staff is committed to client wellness, working as a team with clients, staff and the community. This would not be possible without our volunteer Board of Directors and their dedicated leadership. They may be small, but they are mighty and are devoted to the vision, mission and voice of Inspiring Lives. We benefit from the many years of experience every one of them brings to the table.
Ruth Lau is President of our board of directors. Following a career as an educator in the Oelwein School District, Ruth remains active in her community. Lucky for us, she has chosen to serve on our board many years.
Jim Aberg, Vice President, has worked for over 40 years with both children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who also experience mental health and behavioral problems. He also works with Inspiring Lives in a consultant role.
Dwayne Price, Treasurer, has an extensive background working in the Department of Correctional Services as a Probation/Parole Officer III. He has worked closely with Inspiring Lives in that capacity for many years.
Dana Bostian, Secretary, is our newest board member.
